the Delivery Calendar

The
delivery calendar is printed in the back of The
Buying Club News (monthly pricelist for buying
clubs served from the Chesterfield and New Oxford
warehouses). The calendar tells you
- when
your group's order is due
- what
month's pricing will apply to your delivery
The calendar may
look confusing because of all the numbers, but
it's not hard to use. Here are the steps:
1. Get the
info you need to use the calendar; you only
need to do this once!
2. Understand
how the calendar works; you only need to
do this once!
3. Find your
order deadline, truck depart date and pricing;
do this for every order

| 1.
Get the info you need |
| To
read the calendar you need to know 3 things:
- your
truck number
- your
delivery 'week' -- 1, 2, 3, or 4
- which
warehouse your order comes from, Chesterfield
(CHE) or New Oxford (NOX)

| To
find your truck number, look at any recent
warehouse pick label |
|
 |
| To
find your delivery week: buying club members
should ask their coordinator. Coordinators
can contact bcservices@unfi.com
if they do not know their order week.
Your order week is assigned by the transportation
department and is the same from month to month.

| To
find your warehouse: ask your coordinator.
Your group will always order from the same
warehouse. |

See how the calendar works |
| Now,
look at the calendar. Notice that
each DAY has 2 sections, a white section on
top and a colored section (here it's yellow)
below. Orders are due for trucks listed
in the white section, and trucks departing
on that day are listed in the yellow section. |
