It’s that
time of year again when the snow starts
to melt and we begin to thaw after the
long, cold winter. Not only are we
starting to thaw out, but so are the
roads. This is when cities and counties
start to have weight embargoes on
specific roads. These roads are usually
restricted during the months of March,
April, and May. We would like your help
in identifying these areas so that we
can make arrangements for alternate
delivery sites.
It is
up to your buying club to notify the
warehouse if your delivery site is
currently being restricted due to a
weight embargo, and to have an alternate
delivery site selected to receive your
orders during the time of the embargo.
Our
drivers will not be able to drive on
these restricted roads, so if
arrangements have not been made for an
alternate site, the driver will not be
able to deliver and will return to the
warehouse with your product. This could
possibly result in a restocking fee of
10% charged to your buying club. We
understand that this can be problematic
for all parties concerned, which is why
it is important for you to get in touch
with us at least a few weeks before you
order so we can work out the logistics
of your delivery.
Please contact the warehouse that you
receive delivery from if you have any
changes due to weight restrictions on
your road.
