Using
FoodLink 6.0 to order 'min 3' grocery eaches
Min
3 items are identified with M3 after the product
number in the pricelist.
FoodLink
and M3s, 2 Important Points:
- Do
not click the split box when ordering M3 items
- Processing
M3s requires a (quick) new procedure
for order coordinators.
If
less than 3 units are ordered by the group,
FoodLink v6 will list Min 3 items on the Unfilled
Cases screen and report. If less than 3 units
are ordered by the group, FoodLink will NOT include
the item when sending your order to the warehouse.
On
Member Orders:
To
order Min 3’s, just enter the quantity desired
and optionally a “more” quantity,
but do not click the split box.
You don’t need to click the split box on
these items because the item itself is not being
split. i.e. 137034, a jar of peanut butter, itself
is not being split.
Members
ordering this item should indicate the quantity
they are ordering, and the amount more they would
be willing to take to make the minimum (without
clicking the split box).
For
example:
Member A orders quantity of 1
Member B orders quantity of 1, with more quantity
of 1
After
the group order is repriced, this item
will appear on the Unfilled Cases report as not
meeting the minimum. The order coordinator can
either manually adjust Member B to a quantity
of 2 or click the Auto Fill split cases button
on the Adjust by Product screen to have FoodLink
add in the “more” to try to reach
the minimum on M3 items and fill split cases.
IMPORTANT
NEW PROCEDURE FOR COORDINATORS:
In
Coordinator Mode, after you import member orders,
you must reprice the group order
to have FoodLink display the under minimum items
on the Unfilled Cases screen and report.
- Go
to: Ordering/ Send/Edit Group Order
- Click
the Reprice Group Order button at the bottom
of the screen.
- Now
use the Unfilled Cases Report or Screen to deal
with unfilled cases and under minimum M3s
If
you do not reprice and adjust the quantities,
under minimum items will not be ordered! If
you do not reach a quantity of 3 on M3 items,
FoodLink will not include them on the order sent
to the warehouse. |
